Refund Policy

The seat deposit

Reserving a seat asks for a $250 deposit. The deposit is refundable. If your plans change, tell us and it comes back to you.

Your deposit is applied to your course balance, so it is never an extra fee. It simply holds your seat in a cohort of up to five women. Private cohorts and larger groups can be arranged on request.

The course balance

The balance of your course fee is due fourteen days before the first day of your course. Maddie will be in touch with the amount, the dates, and everything you need before then.

Cancelling a course

Course fees are the Three-Day Course at $1,950, Private Instruction at $3,500, and the Founder Experience from $6,500. Once a course fee is paid:

• Cancelled fourteen days or more before the first day of the course: refunded in full.
• Cancelled within fourteen days of the first day: fifty percent refunded.
• Once the course has begun: the fee is not refundable.

Rescheduling

Life happens. If you need to move to a later cohort, we will reschedule you at no cost. Just tell us as soon as you know.

How refunds arrive

Refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Payments are processed by Stripe, and the timing of the credit appearing on your statement depends on your bank.

If we cancel

If EMPRESS ever has to cancel or move a course, you choose: a full refund of everything you have paid, or a seat in a later cohort at no cost.
